I've downloaded, installed, and enabled a few interface/overhaul mods using Vortex, but when I run the game through either Vortex or Steam, the mods don't seem to be loading. I have SKSE64 installed via vortex, and all of my mods are on the same drive as my Skyrim folder. I get a "Mod Deployment is Pending" message when I launch through Vortex, but they still don't work when I press Deploy.

Anyway, I mod skyrim SE as well and have been for a few years on here and I have skyrim installed on my C drive but this on my D drive for space reasons. Vortex says that mods can't be deployed because the mod staging folder needs to be on the same drive as the game.

You CANNOT place the Mod Staging Folder INSIDE the Game Directory, people were doing that left and right, and messing up their games, so Tannin had to update Vortex so it wouldn't allow people to continue to make that mistake. Mod Staging folder.
